Over the years, the On Track team has successfully established the buy-in and support of the program with the schoolteachers and administrators as well as the parents.  The following are sample comments by the teachers at
the end of the year that demonstrate both the impact of the program on the mentees as well as the level of support
and appreciation of the school staff. 

Santa Ana

  • She has improved 2 grade levels in reading. It took a support team and all her dedication to do it. On Track
    was a big part of that team!!
  • He has matured and has become very aware of the dangers of drugs and has become outspoken about it.  
  • She is informed and aware and willing to share all her knowledge about drug awareness.
  • She is happier and her English has improved a great deal.
  • He was terribly ostracized by his peers because of his stutter. He was constantly in fights or crying. He is a
    new person today.
  • On Track, his family, and I have formed a team that has motivated and supported him so that today he is a model student. 
  • She gets so much support and wonderful rewards for her behavior in your program. 
  • Your program has made a large contribution to his academic success this year.  Thank you for providing such a great program and much needed program to our school.

Irvine

  • He has been more aware of his responsibility to return homework.  More self-control in class.  The student was referred to On Track because of aggressive behavior and a negative attitude. He has little parent support at home.  The student seems to be a more invested member of our classroom. He is more willing to participate and complete work in class.  We loved his mentor. His mentor monitored his homework and went the extra mile for him every session.
  • He has become a lot better at completing homework and being organized.  He appears more confident and has benefited from the academic help.
  • Completes all homework, stays out of trouble.  He has become a lot better at completing homework and being organized. 
  • Homework completion during On Track improved.  He also needed a guide/mentor in his life.
